与次郎（吉田ウーロン太）に絡まれている初音（松井玲奈）を救った新三郎（寺脇康文）。その後、初音は、新三郎に付きまとい、養生所に居座る。初音の素性が気になる忠相（高橋克典）。実は初音は、貧乏旗本・疋田群兵衛（波岡一喜）の妹であり、兄の取ってきた金持ちの客に身を売っていた。初音の新三郎への執着は日増しに強くなる。そんな中、初音の客だった与次郎が殺され、群兵衛に仕える六之助（前原滉）に嫌疑がかかる。Set in the Edo period under the rule of Tokugawa Yoshimune, Ooka Echizen 8 follows the renowned magistrate Ooka Tadasuke as he confronts crimes and injustices throughout Edo. Balancing sharp judgment with compassion, Tadasuke works alongside his trusted friends and colleagues to protect the people and uphold justice, while facing increasingly challenging cases and political intrigue.
