Fujinshi is a Japanese action-packed series that aired on TV Asahi from January 16th to March 13th, 2022. The show revolves around a mysterious beheaded corpse found in Tokyo, cut with an impossibly sharp blade but mysteriously bloodless. Young reporter Sanjo Mio, played by Fukagawa Mai, investigates the case and witnesses a plume of black dust erupting from the wound, which is only visible to her and a few others, including Osagami Kakeru, a "blade master," and Iotsu Sho. Kakeru is on a mission to destroy "filth blades," sinister weapons forged from human evil that corrupt their wielders. As Kakeru neutralizes each blade, he gets closer to being consumed by the very filth he fights to eradicate.
