Ichika (Iwamoto Renka) and transfer student Hikaru (Tanaka Koki) hit it off after discovering they’re both addicted to the same quiz app. Hikaru grew up in a single-parent household and moved to escape his mother’s boyfriend, who had become a stalker. Ichika opens up to Hikaru, who grew up in a complicated family environment like Ichika, and escapes reality by devoting himself to his hobby of quizzes. Hikaru then proposes a "strategy" for Ichika.
The two then introduce Ichika’s mother Kazumi (Katayama Moemi) and father Reitaro (Takezai Terunosuke), who have not spoken to each other for many years, living under the same roof. Reitaro and Kazumi finally come face to face and get to the heart of the matter that led to the tape being spread all over the place.
